The Oyster-PWDDSC Cold water tap filter for private water supplies:
This is where 2 housings are connected in parallel with the flow balanced both in to & out of the filters so doubling the output

Dimensions of the system in cm: 34high x 38wide x 13deep.
Flow Rates:
60psi - 12 litres/min, 45psi - 10 litres/min, 30psi - 6.6 litres/min
Supplied absolutely complete with:
   2 metres incoming 3/8 inch flexible red tube with 15mm compression x 3/8 inch push fit adaptor with non-return valve
and 2 metres outgoing 3/8 inch flexible blue tube with 15mm compression x 3/8 inch push fit adaptor..
 Assembled filter with tubes fitted for balanced flow, 3/8 inch Push-Fit tube fittings, fixing bracket and both Supercarb cartridges installed.

The silver impregnated outer 0.5 micron outer shell deals with particulates, bacteria & cysts:
E.Coli, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Shigella, Typhoid, Klebsiella, Cholera - all better than 99.99%.
Turbidity (particulates & sediments) - better than 99.7%

The actvated carbon block core deals with organics and inorganics:

Chlorine - better than 97%

Polychromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) - better than 95%

Insecticides & Herbicides (eg Lindane & Atrazine) - better than 85%

Phenols & Trihalomethanes (THMs) - better than 50%

 

Cartridge life is dictated by the carbon block at 7,500 litres per cartridge = 15,000 litres for the pair (more than 2 years in a 2 person household at typical use).

The ceramic shell is scrubbable to remove sediments and bacteria
