The Pearl-B model is supplied with a 0.2 micron Carbon Block/Ceramikx Cartridge and deals with taste and odour problems by filtering Chlorine, Sediments, Chloramines, Trihalomethanes & PAHs, pharmaceutical residues, endocrine disruptors, hormones.

Bacteria performance, including Campylobacter, E.coli and chlorine resistant cysts such as cryptosporidium & giarda, is better than 99%. 7,000 litres cartridge life and the replacement cartridge is priced at £29.95.

The Ceramikx/Carbon Block cartridge is washable.  Pathogens. particulates and sediments are mechanically filtered on the cartridge surface and can be washed off in a flow of water and gentle rubbing with a soft sponge if the flow from the tap becomes unacceptable..
